LOL. Gold and HUI both up 2%, so something's wrong there too. Just heard something concrete on the European banking rumors. BZ, a mid-sized Swiss investment bank, is being forced to sell positions to cover loans. The rumors of a bigger bank being involved may be due to the fact that they own 10% of either UBS or Credit Suisse, not sure which. Am trying to find out more, but there is some concern that the problems may extend beyond BZ.
