I believe both sides are probably culpable for such a lack of an comprehensive energy plan. But Clinton/Gore's plan was rather dictatorial and focused on impractical electrical vehicles, whereas Bush seems to be more interested in hybrids and fuel cells which would require less of an infrastructual change to make the transition. But I certainly believe that energy independence is a national security issue. And in particular, I'm all for developing hydrogen and fuel cells, and creating a network of nuclear power plants providing the necessary electricity to perform the electrolysis from water. Clean, inexhaustible, and certainly feasible. Hawk
