But suppose you get into the air war- -and the rest of the Arabs rise? All of them. They cut off the oil- -both to the Europeans and us. The countries around Iraq send their armies in to help out.

I think an increase in terrorism plus guerilla warfare in Iraq is a more likely negative scenario. If they cut off the oil they start starving. I also don't think the neighboring countries are going to want to throw their armies into an American meatgrinder. But I agree that if Saudi goes fundamentalist and other countries in the region become very hostile to us it would be a huge mess, even if I disagree with the details of this particular scenario.
