You seem to be the one doing the distracting from an awkward or embarrassing situation.

You claim social liberalism leads to murder. But all the other western democracies are far more socially liberal than we are (cradle to grave high tax welfare states) and they all have far less than murder than we do.

I think you're going to have to account for this if you want to link liberalism to murder.
