Well, these are interesting points. Gold has upkeep too though as you have to pay someone to store it and possibly insure it. However, its somewhat limited quantity makes it interesting as a currency or currency backing medium. What is the recommended method to buy gold, sell it again or buy things with it? I'm ready to switch now once I know how. /Ricetrader
