It was in one of Tim's posts on AA polls......I think from the WA POST. It reported that of the white males polled, ten or 15% said they have felt some impact from A.A.......not that their progress was impeded but rather some impact had been felt. I hope this is good enough back up to my statement

The adult white male population of the US amounts to many millions. 15% of that having negative effects from AA indicates that the problems it causes are anything but rare.

That's not "rare" (0.1% might be called rare, or 0.01%). In my former life as a CPA I have known many people who were impeded by it. Furthermore, I've had numerous business clients who were denied loans or other funding while lesser qualified MWOBs were granted funding.

It is grossly unfair and contrary to the notion of rewarding people for their own success.
