It is a difficult concept for liberals, but Bush is not about polls. I firmly believe he totally ignores them. He does what he thinks is right. This, by the way, is precisely the same thing Teddy Roosevelt did -- it sometimes alienated his political base, but he didn't give one big damn about polls. TRUE LEADERSHIP.

Please! If Bush doesn't give a damn about the polls, he doesn't know what they are.

Do you understand the psychological concept of projection? People tend to project their own traits or traits they admire on others, particularly people in the public eye.

That's the only explanation I have for your take on Bush.
