Hi DJ, the HK weather is Allah awful and god dire, along with a sprinkle of Buddha grim. But you know that already else would not have asked;0)

Rain, coming down not in buckets of water, but sheets, and the mist has turned the ocean and sky into one color, gray. This is the 4th or 5th day of the same, and being Saturday, is perfect for staying home, with balcony doors open, soft music filtering through the sound of water, with air stirred by the ceiling fan.

No coffee, no tea, no Coke, no caffeine. I have switched to honey mixed in chilled spring water. Recessions and depressions are OK if accompanied by proper music and decent drinks.

On that article, I am not guilty.

Yuan is now accepted only in China, Vietnam, Burma, North Korea, Hong Kong and Macao, and possibly parts of maritime Siberia. No big deal yet. Taiwan should be next.

You know what folks say about absolute power and all, and I suspect China will be in the nick of scratching time to save us all; abracadabra, and if not, we are then ALL doomed:0)

Chugs, Jay
