Ah, but they do concern themselves with indoctrinating the divisive dogmas of conflicting national ideologies. History, patriotism, the pledge, all that stuff. They can hardly claim innocence in that department.

Suppose the proposal were to provide vouchers that could only be used at non-religious schools. What would your opinion be then? (Forget the practical problem that there aren't many such.)

True. Rather, and most unfortunately, the public school system concerns itself with indoctrinating [students] with the tenets of liberal social ideologies.
