Now that Iraq faces the ultimate challenge , Ritter feels it necessary to set the record straight for two reasons.

I thought it was because he was given $400,000 by an Iraqi-American businessman in order to finance his documentary

And yes,.. this story is true,despite being a Newsmax article. I heard Ritter admit it himself on CSPAN radio. He just claims that the money was provided to him with NO influence on how he made his documentary.

But given that he has destroyed any credibility he might have had to garner additional consulting work, might this be a financial decision on his part?? I can see me making a movie just about anything if someone hands me $400,000 (Just kidding)..
