The New York Times is a first rate newspaper which since all news comes framed also carries multiple frames in its articles, most of which are Rockefeller Republican to centrist Democratic, sort of the DLC style.

Rockefeller Republican = big government Republican, or what my husband calls a rhino ("Republican In Name Only".)

Centrist Democrats ain't in the center, either.

In my opinion. Because I don't think there is a center. Unless by center you mean something that a majority of people in the country agree about.

Take abortion. A very large percentage supports abortion in the first trimester. A similarly large percentage opposes abortion in the third trimester. A similarly large percentage supports parental notification when a teenaged child wants an abortion. Is there a politician in the country who votes that way?
