Tenchusatsu, did you hold up a sign when Bush Sr. let Saddam slip between his fingers? Remember, Saddam had committed a crime upon which he could be tried and hung.

This is such hypocracy. You would have been first in line to criticize George Bush 41 and you know it, should he have decided to go to Baghdad.


When this was all happening, I was so deep in personal problems, I hardly knew who Bush was at the time.........I think my biggest concern was that the Gulf War might cause a reinstatement of the draft.

So to answer your question, I was legitimately surprised that he let Saddam get away.
