I was there two weeks ago. I stayed with a guy in South Manhattan whose apartment is just two blocks away from Ground Zero. It's so clear there, looks no different from a construction zone now.

My friend moved there just months ago, I think, due to lowered rent. True story: They tried to put him in apartment #911. LOL! He obviously refused, even after they offered to change the apartment number. "Let's see, 910, 935, 912 ... hmmm?"

So anyway, after visiting there, I now agree with those who oppose developing the area. It really is hallowed ground now. Just turn it into a large open park, complete with memorials and a miniature replica of the WTC pre-9/11.
