There is a lesson to be learned here.. We're seeing Hamas leadership willing to limit their attacks upon Israel, knowing that they've probably "gone too far"... And they are negotiating for a cessation of the violence in exchange for Israeli withdrawal from areas they have recently reoccupied. Thus, it seemingly reinforces the Israeli belief that the only way they will get any semblance of moderation on the part of the Palestinian factions is to bludgeon them to death. At least we're seeing some signs that some folks on the Palestinian side are having second thoughts about the repercussions of their policies. Hawk
