well, it seems more like a crutch than a device. some people obviously need crutches (or baseball bats in some cases) and others don't. i'd like to think you fall into the latter category. I would think that "crutch" is in a similair vain to taking somebody's position to the outer most extreme....such as assuming that all expenses could be paid using options just because they are used as a portion of some employee's compensation packages. We all use various rhetorical devices in our arguments....most of them are rather annoying when they are used against us but I have found few people who refrain entirely. Slacker
