It is interesting that there are the "stock free" stories of those who have gone on to be millionaires. I take no credit away from their achievements. Interesting that you have been pm-ed several similar stories. I cannot help but wonder what the ratio between Stock Free Millionaires stories vs. Stock Market Millionaires, would be. If you could get accurate sampling of millionaires, <or even those with a net worth above a certain dollar figure>, I think that sampling would most likely tip the scale to the sides of those who had invested in the market. I think either effort requires diligence. Another interesting comparison would be to factor age into the graph. Again, I think that you might find a difference in that as well. Thinking more in terms of at what age a person's net worth reached a given dollar amount.
