Slightly different. Those countries were deliberately at war with the USA. I've looked a bit at some of those web sites, they are truely terrible. A definite clear reason to leave war as the very last option.

The Rape of Nanking, the slaughter of millions by the Germans in the Soviet Union, the Jews and Gypsies, the list is almost endless. As far as I'm concerned, they got what they deserved. I've got Asian friends who, when talking about Hiroshima and Nagaski, state it's too bad we didn't have/use more abombs. Too bad we couldn't have done it sooner and more often.
