I don't think they can get your email address just because you go to their website. It takes more. Like you filling it in on a form. So that porn email might just be the result of a form you filled out for ebay or a bank and then they sold it.

But I don't see how they could get it just from clicking on a link. (Although you can do wonders with cookies.)

Regarding spam, I came upon this product, which takes a different approach to spam. Rather than screening out, it lets in only what you tell it. I downloaded it but haven't installed it because I decided I really don't get all that much.
