Let's not go overboard with the partisanship So you think that 8 years of one string of lies after another has no effect? This has been my main complaint with Clinton -- that he set a really, really bad example for people. It may be subtle, but I firmly believe that people lead by example. When the leader is a liar, you will see an entire class of liars develop. Perhaps I'm wrong; but there are entire cultures where lying is acceptable, even respected, behavior.
