The President himself has gone on the record saying that he supports spending most of that $5 Billion as it is proposed: aid to Israel, Palestine, Homeland Security spending (airport improvements such as multi-million dollar screening machines at all the airports, etc.)

The only spending item I recall him identifying in his speech that he objected to was a couple of hundred K for a 'Bug museum' (or maybe it was only 100 K...)

Exactly how much of that $5 B. does he object to? Does anyone know?

Yes it was about worms and not pork. It's about extortion and tying worms to national defense. I would like to see a change and have each separate issue debated on it's merit's.

I consider that a great way to make all more accountable for what they allow and don't allow. It increases the transparency of intent of members of congress.
