Dear Lazarus, if we attack Saddam, he will use WMD against us, and we will have a serious incident where thousands perhaps a million civilian US citizens will die. Only because we are determined to attack a guy who has done jack shit for 12 years

Argentina doesn't have WMD either. Maybe we should attack them. The only way to stop countries in general from getting nukes is to keep them technologicly backward, At least 60 or 70 years behind the mainstream. As time goes on and the need arises for a well educated world its going to be dang hard to keep all these countries barefoot and stupid. Our only longterm salvation will be an environment where countries will not see the need for WMD as they will have other avenues for their asperations and grievances. This is yet another area where Junior is woefully making things worse. TP
