I know of no humanists who are in favor of promiscuous teen age sex (that must be anti-humanist propaganda :-). What is more I'm not in favor of promiscuous sex for anyone. I am in favor of marriage (for gays and straights) for lives spent doing productive things for society. I am in favor of the idea of justice (even if the real thing does not exist)- just as I am in favor of the ideas of equality, and liberty. If you want to hold a diverse society together, it is best not to draw the lines along religions fault zones (imo). You will balkanize the country along religious lines if you do that. That is why I am such a strong proponent of public education- I think if we can agree to a set secular state idea of basic "morality"- we can hold people together over things that 99% of the population can agree on. just my opinion, of course
