*OT* My last post on it (don't wanna pollute thread)

Where I come from (and grew up)...if you contract for a job, and you do a crappy job.....you give some money back or even do a freebie.

Of course, I am talking about independent business owners, but essentially, that's what I see ballplayers as...(not technically, but given what they are paid, perks/lifestyle, and occasionally free agency).

Ideally, players/owners who underperform would put money into a big pool to subsidize tix for underpriveledged kids, pay for education and other necessities of our society..(and maybe even subsidize lower prices for tixs, other at ball parks)
