I think Mike Magee had another source but this is what the Dresden 'insider' said:

2400+ and 2600+ are being produced for two weeks now, should be available at the beginning of September.

So he was right on that account, weeks before we heard any other rumors about it. In this case his other statements are much more credible now IMO. Thanks for pointing that out. I'll keep an eye on his posts.

According to my calculations it seems end of September is more like it for any 2400+-2600+. Just in time to miss a lot of Christmas.

Petz, the timing of Hector's Stock purchases make perfect sense now. He was probably waiting to see if his engineers could deliver and once he found out things were going well, he bought. Things may start looking great for AMD
