what is a TFT screen?

I'm beginning to think that might better to wait till the second generation phones come out. I have always felt that the line of development that PC's have taken was a good example for Cellphones. With PC's have I always bought last year's technology once PC's went past pent 90's. While it's not apples to apples (pc and cellphones), the leap from the old gen to what is the latest and the greatest is only a pretty face right now.

Thanks,

B

This article is for those midwest cornbrains in Kansas City. How they could possibly launch 1x without one single camera ready handset is beyond comprehension.

tech.sina.com.cn

Headline: Japan Docomo camera handsets sale exceeded 1 million

.... launched since June, now exceeded 1 million and competing with Jphone ... launched originally with Sharp in June, added two models from Mitsubishi and Fuji in July.

Jphone launched camera handsets a yr a a half ahead of docomo. Jphone said camera handset subscribers now exceed 6 million, almost half of all subscribers.
