Eugene, it would seem that it makes most sense to bottom in the fall, but the problem with that is there is so much unfinished business we need to attend to in valuations. Lots of stuff has been partially discounted by stocks, but not enough to make them "cheap", which is what we see at bottoms.

Look at the SOXX and you can see what I'm pointing to. There are way too many stocks still selling at a huge premium to sales, which is not what we see at bottoms. A bottom at 1000 COMP will not address that sufficiently.

There is also way too much optimism in the market. Until 401K's are sold out of stocks by those under 50, we won't have a good bottom, IMO.
