Yeah, I probably shouldn't have brought it up. I was just surprised by the increase in cost given the circumstances. I'm not a patient traveler under the best of circumstances. I haven't yet flown since 9/11 so I'm already gritting my teeth over that anticipated hassle. I'm already cranky over the problem of taking a screwdriver to jiggle the modem on my notebook, which craps out periodically for no reason. There's no way I'm going to BWI. I'm just not that cost conscious. I'm a ten minute cab ride from National. I won't go to BWI to save even a few hundred dollars, not when I can get a forty minute connection in Dallas on American out of National. I haven't booked anything yet. I don't have any fixed plans and there's no rush. I'll see what develops. Hell, I'm retired now. Maybe I'll just drive.
