Wow, you're seeing the same things I am. Look at full stochs over the past year on the daily:

Each time they've become this overbought off a low they've corrected a minimum of 10% (October 2001) or headed to new lows.

10% correction would be COMP 1260, but I doubt we'd head up after a drop of that magnitude.

This may sound stupid, but this is about as far as you can go with this rope strangling the volume without shutting down the market completely, IMO.

BTW, the rise last year off the Sept. lows was a rising wedge and not a flag, so that accounts for the drop and resumption of the up-trend last fall.
