You seem to think management still own a large amount of the company.

Yahoo shows them as almost entirely cleared out.

Sorry- I use this page, which is usually pretty up-to-date and I just noticed its a quarter old.
moneycentral.msn.com

Even so my quick glance at yahoo didn't register that they had each sold 32 million shares in the last 3 mos, which would leave them with little or nothing. I will check again.

Its rare that founders of a new company show up on this 5% ownership page. Once in a while, like in the case of oracle where Larry owns so much, since he financed the company himself. Its usually a large mutual fund like Janus or Fidelity on the list... as is the case with brocade.

edit- I keep trying to get into the naz site for the most up-to-date info on their 5% ownership page, (which is the same that msn displays) but they updated the site and it is crashing my browser when I try to get a quote!

Alright after a bit of trouble I think I've found ownership info as of July 31. This excerpt from 10Q

"As of July 31, 2002 our directors and executive officers beneficially owned approximately 24.6% of our outstanding common stock and 70.3% of the total voting control held by our shareholders. In particular, as of July 31, 2002 our two founders, Dr. Henry T. Nicholas III and Dr. Henry Samueli, beneficially owned a total of approximately 23.4% of our outstanding common stock and 68.6% of the total voting control held by our shareholders. "

So they own 23.4% The bulk in Class B shares. Probably a fraction of what they once had and still dropping. I'd be curious to know what they had in '98 if anyone knows.

I'm going to see what percentage Nicholas has sold in the last 6 months.
