capex spending for 2003 is going to drop again. We know that much.

That's not to say that csco won't capture even a bigger mkt share for routers, but the capacity argument is old, new economy baloney. Been there, not done that, because I never believed it in the bubble heyday... and i don't believe it now.

I think the argument to be made for CSCO is the same as the argument to be made for Dell - ripping mkt share away from competitors in a mkt sector that right now stinks.
