Cary, For a quick answer to your question - I have not found a way to get that individual monthly information from SEMI. That doesn't mean it is not be available - it just might take a little more digging. I will keep looking to see if the data can be found.

Monthly numbers are available from VLSI Research.

They're not that easy to interpret on a point basis as most quarters look like a hockey stick: first two months low followed by a sharp rise in the final month of the Q.

I'd really hate to see analysts subscribe to this service. They'd than call for 8 chip depressions annually rather than only 4 or 5.
