That must be the reason SIA and SEMI average over 3 months. Seriously, there is too much of that '2 data point' analysis going on already without cutting the data even finer. [added] Maybe we should pay more attention to 'backlog change'. home.attbi.com For AMAT it's true backlog change, calculated from the company's numbers, Q2-Q1.
