This is simply not true; while I do sometimes make sweeping characterizations based on my own experience, they are "occasional" and not "nearly always", and I make it clear they represent my opinion, and generally the reason I formed the opinion. I have repeatedly cited my rationale for these conclusions I've reached. Since you are a liberal, I obviously wouldn't expect you to agree with me, nor do I care whether you do. My remarks concerning liberals' integrity or analytical shortcomings are, I believe, self-evident. You don't agree? Fine. Is there some reason I can't have an opinion? I mean, you've made your opinion known, i.e, the United States has no standing to attack Iraq unless WE are the target of Iraq's WMD. This, to me, is patently absurd. Obviously, it isn't to you. So, what, you get an opinion and I don't? All I've asked out of any liberal on this thread is for you (collectively) to put forth reasoned arguments. If you don't care to do so, fine. I often express my opinion, but it is clear that I'm doing so; when I present something as fact, it is clear where the facts come from. From Ted, I get "I am hoping the lot of you burn in hell with Nixon..... ". From you, you say, "Mention an incident where Saddam has used violence of any kind against the US" and I respond with a list of exactly that. Suddenly, "WHERE IS AL?". He has disappeared. Why? Because the freaking questions got too tough. Same with Ted. So, if I have an attitude about liberals, it could be because liberals are around long enough to begin an argument but when the questions get tough, they're out of here. Whatever criticism you have of me, when I'm proven wrong I admit it and move forward. I might add, I think the only people who have really made good cases against what I've had to say on this thread were conservatives. What I've seen from Ted and Dan3 is namecalling. I'll agree you don't namecall the way those guys do; but if you want to argue your position, do it. If you can't support your statements, don't make them.
