Is there some reason I can't have an opinion? I mean, you've made your opinion known, i.e, the United States has no standing to attack Iraq unless WE are the target of Iraq's WMD. This, to me, is patently absurd. Obviously, it isn't to you. So, what, you get an opinion and I don't?

Have you ever stopped and read your opinions? You state your opinions as if they are fact. In fact, they are very autocratic in nature........there can be no other way but your way. You suggested earlier that this thread is immature. Well, let's define immaturity.......by its nature, a child is the very meaning of immaturity, and out of immaturity, usually sees things only in black and white. And so he/she must have that toy because he/she wants it. He/she wants to screw on the cap his/her way because he/she wants it that way. He/she says the sun rises in the West and sets in the East, and of course, its correct because he/she says so.

You are incapable of compromise, concession, admission of being wrong and of course, any empathy. There are people like you on either side of the Israeli/Palestinian conflict, the Irish Prot/Cath conflict, the Pakastani/Indian conflict......the list goes on. And all those people think they are very smart, very clever, very strong, very clear, and very right. And they take the rest of us to the brink every damn time.

Let me know when you have evolved..........then your opinion might be interesting.

From you, you say, "Mention an incident where Saddam has used violence of any kind against the US" and I respond with a list of exactly that. Suddenly, "WHERE IS AL?". He has disappeared. Why? Because the freaking questions got too tough. Same with Ted.

I did not answer your post because your response to my original question was ridiculous...the Aflac duck in the Yogy Berra commercial comes to mind. If the US - Iraq roles were reversed, would Iraq be justified to invade the US? Consider the crushing restrictions, the no flys, the sanctions, the constant rhetoric, etc...

Since you are a liberal, I obviously wouldn't expect you to agree with me, nor do I care whether you do.

I disagree with Bush's policies on Iraq, the ANWAR, his bellicose stands, careless speeches, my way or no way approach to leadership...but that does not make me a liberal. In many ways I am very conservative. Have you considered why you so often resort to generalizations about liberals? Finally, I don't fault you for being a conservative, if that's what you are. I think opposing views are very important. You should stick to the issues.
