1. No one said he was just his model portfolios.

2. The "discrepancy" between the percentages when Brinker made the asset allocation change and the percentages now have not cost anyone any money, and will not, unless he blows the re-entry. The quality of the re-entry point is the crucial issue.

"You keep wanting to cherry pick and ignore the remainder of the facts."

It's not cherry picking to discuss both the good and bad in Brinker's advice. No one's saying that he is a great market timer, based on the record so far. As a matter of fact, when I discussed Brinker with someone who was asking me for investment advice this summer, I told her that he was unreliable.

"That's just what Brimelow is doing. Hiding from the truth however won't make the truth any different."

I don't see where Brimelow is hiding anything. In fact, it seemed to me that he gave the QQQ fiasco considerable emphasis.

"Do you honestly think that if the QQQ trade had been a success, Brinker wouldn't be using that as a reason to buy his newsletter or plunk money into his wrap accounts? "

He absolutely would be using it for that purpose. No question about it.

"It isn't ok to have two sets of books and use only the one set which makes you look good while ignoring the other set."

I agree.
