The Congresses of the 2020s have no choice but to keep Social Security alive for the boomers. There are too many of them. The reality of the political threat will come much sooner. Social Security will be a big issue in 2004 and much bigger issue in 2008.

Social Security happens to be the most unstable, expensive, and riskiest investment available today. You might as well find the last surviving .com fund. You'd have a better chance of seeing some dough by 2022...
