CB, As a lawyer, would you say that Bush already knows he has a case (based upon classified information, quite likely) and prefers to hold back making his case until all the other logistics are in place??

The question, in my eyes, is just how many sources of intelligence he will be willing to compromise publicly in order to make that case.

But the worse thing he could do is make his case early, and then permit such evidence to lose it's "shock effect" upon public opinion.

It will be interesting to see how the Czechoslovakian intelligence related to Atta is presented. There is the smoking gun, if suffcient evidence can be corroborated. It's been hinted at, but US intelligence agencies have downplayed it to date.

But the Prime Minister of Czechoslovakia, and his counter-intelligence officials, were so confident of the information's veracity that he was willing to stick his neck out publicly and "blow their source".
