Thanks for the URL

I am familiar with many Chesterton quotes, and I have no affinity for most of them- they always just seem wrong to me.

Like:

"Impartiality is a pompous name for indifference, which is an elegant name for ignorance." - The Speaker, 12/15/00

A studied impartiality can actually be a symptom of the most critical thinking. Judges, for example, the good ones, who truly do make the effort at impartiality are neither indifferent nor ignorant. Chesterton is glib, and smug, and makes no sense when examined (imo). Russell on the other hand, makes tremendous sense even when I do not agree with him.
