Poet, a regular, will be away until the 25th, at least. As well, some of those on the list of "regulars" are occasional drop-ins. One is a quite new arrival.

I'd like to know why there is a rush by JLA to ban TP. Is there something he might say in the next week or two so dangerous that he must be silenced before the principle of banning him for provocative political expression on a Boxing Ring can be fully aired by all those who might want to be part of an interesting philosophical (and practical) exchange?

I'd also like to make the following request of JLA, as a necessary prerequisite for any vote, whenever it takes place:

Please post several examples of posts of TP's that violate either the letter or the spirit of the (admittedly no longer operative, but sensible in their content) TOU, or that differ in any regard from posts to which you have made no objection but that express political views concordant with yours.

Dislike of a poster's views and interpretations of current events is insufficient reason to silence him on a Boxing Ring thread.

Here, as a reminder, are the formerly applicable TOU, which I suggest be the standard by which the posts of TP's that will be judged here be assessed in any discussion that takes place.
