Kelly apparently hasn't been wearing makeup during the filming of those "candid" shots around the mansion. That's probably not smart because she's seen in proximity to those who are made up. I think you figured it out. Because in the performances, she looks pretty, in a nice, small-town girl sort of way. All the judges were stunned when Tamyra lost the vote. Paula looked totally shocked. Did you like listening to Tamyra's voice? Just as a voice, did you find it pleasing? I thought she was Kelly's competition, to, and was amazed when she lost, but that was because the judges adored her so much. The enmity between Paula and Simon is obviously real. At first I thought it was shtick. But when he made the crack about her patter-writer, that was definitely for real and designed to be humiliating.
