Anyone else here hope that Spurrier falls flat on his face? :^)

Not me. He's starting to really grow on me. If someone takes a poke at him he pokes them right back. He's a refreshing change from most pro coaches.

I'm not sure how well the Skins will do this year, it will take Spurrier some time to adjust to the league. It will also take some time to get players that fit his system. This year we will see if he can adjust his system to the players he inherited from Marty plus a couple of second team QBs. The defense should be pretty good if they can generate any kind of pass rush.

I hope he succeeds, actually, not because I like him personally but because that style of play can be fun to watch.

Teams like that tend to succeed only if they have a very strong defense that they can rely on to bail them out of trouble.

Spurrier will not be successful with the offense he wants to run until he gets a real QB.....................

At the moment the Redskins are a team built to run the ball and play great D..........Spurrier with his fun and gun style will keep his D on the field for too many minutes during the game

The Skins are a .500 team tops
