(I just checked.)> I was going on second hand info from other sources. Maybe you could let us all know if bob had QQQ a buy or a sell in the Nov. 2000 newsletter. <g> Nov 2000 MT, p1, paragraph 3: QQQ=81 on pg 7 "subscribers seeking to establish positions at optimum price levels [kirk's highlight] should, if possible, accumulate QQQ shares at prices in the range between the low-70's and mid-70's as opportunities arise in the near-term. In our view, gains off the closing Nasdaq lowpoint have the potential to exceed 20% by a wide margin. This is especially true if recent Nasdaq lows are retested during the month of November. He goes on to repeat that aggressive investors should invest "up to" 30 to 50% of cash reserves in EITHER QQQ or the Rydex OTC fund. Then he says conservative subscribers can invest up to "20 to 30%. He also gives details of how the conservative people will be 6.5% to 9.75% in QQQ while and agressives will be 19.5% to 32.5% (pretty high precision!) Later on he says "one of the great advantages of our large cash reserve position is the flexibility to be able to take advantage of short term countertrend rally opportunities when they are identifiable." So, if he wants credit in the official record for going to cash, then that paragraph damn well says he should be held accountable in his portfolios for the QQQ advice! Other than his poor use of English saying "up to" a range, it seems pretty clear to me he was "sweet on" the QQQs in November 2000.
