This is not OT. Foreign Affairs are everyone's problem, no matter what the political stripes. And that includes war. 9-11 changed everything. Finally, terrorists notified the US quite visibly that this involved all citizens, including our children.....

Have you forgotten 9-11? NYC, DC, PA? Who and what is next? Whose children?

.......Sick? I disagree. I think it'd be a good exercise to poll every hawk on this board to see how many are currently in the military or have sons/grandsons in.
It's always easy to invest OTHER PEOPLE'S kids....<<<<<

I have a son who will be draft age next year. He is trying to get into better shape so he can go into Air Force ROTC - which means, of course, that he will serve four years as an officer afterwards. Admittedly, we want to get him into intelligence, or working with computers, but those guys are not bullet proof.
