As I said, you can protest against the government entities who are acting in violation of American Constitutional Principles all you want. The Flag is a symbol of American freedoms and the Constitution. As a nation, we have a right to exist bound by Consitutional rules. The flag is a symbol of that. People who want to burn the flag are usually protesting unconstitutional action by some governmental entity. The conflict is that the direction of their protest is misplaced. It should not be on the symbol of our nation. It should be on the entity that is out of order. If they are seriously suggesting to people that America should be destroyed (symbolically burning its flag) I consider that an act of treason.
