I didn't mean to be "bitchy." I was responding straightforwardly to the idea that anyone could be "proud" that Bush is our president. Do you feel the embarrassment that I describe when you see and hear him speak, or do you feel pride? I have posted other criticisms of President Bush and his policies. Most recently, maybe, his cruel (imo) (one keyword = fistulas) policies regarding family planning assistance in the third world, and maternal health care assistance, too.
