I never said Patty Hearst was tried for treason. From what I've read, Lindh is claiming he was an unwitting conscript. He went there of his own volition. Patty Hearst on the other hand was attending school. She was an innocent who was kidnapped by terrorists from her townhouse. From there, she was locked in a closet, tortured and raped and brainwashed for weeks. Her IQ dropped 20 points. She was truly a victim. I think Lindh walked into that situation with eyes whide open.
