common 1999 pervasive opinion: USA RECESSION = DEPRESSION

now we are seeing policy decisions to avert the recession
desperate attempts to avoid it
even dishing more of the cause of the problem in order to attempt to forestall any cleansing
e.g. more easy credit nationwide at all levels

I always agreed with the stated topline belief tenet
but I didnt expect such continued desperate measures
I attribute much of it to sheer denial of reality

give the patient a JackDaniels to end the early morning DT's

delirious tremens
the risk is complete breakdown, with more of the same

the charade passed off as investing during August was textbook
right out of a psychology chapter
right out of an espionage thriller
this will end badly, just dunno when
I can wait them out

but a new twist
layoffs are mounting
20% of a large organization within my firm were canned yesterday
some had been here for over 20 yrs
on the radio talkshows are stories of picayune reasons for firing people
by Ohio college buddy was given firing notice a month ago
the same trifling manufactured reasons
the pain is widespread, the desperation is growing
give it time

INVEST IN REAL MONEY, GOLD
I remain, A Jackass

excuse me, didnt mean to say something politically incorrect
e.g. more "liquidity" injected into the system (OY OY OY)

I always agreed with the stated topline belief tenet
but I didnt expect such continued desperate measures
I attribute much of it to sheer denial of reality
and worse, to some perverse contention that policymakers can actually call back the tide, call down the wind, and repeal the laws of nature as they apply to economics

a word from Habakkuk -- who didn't like the more wicked nation of the Babylonians coming to punish his nation, after he complained about their wickedness -- Then God told him -- "the righteous will live by His faith"

Acceptance can be a wonderful thing, no??

>>

17 Though the fig tree does not bud
and there are no grapes on the vines,
though the olive crop fails
and the fields produce no food,
though there are no sheep in the pen
and no cattle in the stalls,
18 yet I will rejoice in the Lord ,
I will be joyful in God my Savior.

19 The Sovereign Lord is my strength;
he makes my feet like the feet of a deer,
he enables me to go on the heights.
