Bill, RE: Many little shops, and large ones too, will have made use of the Bapco data to sway clients into an Intel purchase by telling those clients that Bapco is a company that measures performance and is not beholden to anyone.

The only times that I have EVER heard Bapco mentioned is either on these threads or among Silicon Valley engineers. No retailer or white box shop has ever made reference to them.
