Listen puke, that is how my fees are determined. Too bad if it doesn't back up your pinhead world view, eh? The legal business in general has become very competitive and rates have been affected accordingly.

Seems odd (but not surprising) that you know more about lawyer's fees than an actual lawyer does. Not being a lawyer I can't know for sure, but my lawyer in the Bay Area was $400 per hour, and the guy I use up here in my new digs is $175.

Are you saying that the bar association sets these fees? They look market based to me.

ps - I wish I made either of those fees ;-)
