I don't know actual statistics on how many rich guys inherited vs. how many earned it. The fact is a LOT of people have made it in America, and everyone has the chance to do it here. That some are more "privelidged" than others does not bother me. If you say that you or others can't make it because you are not "privelidged" you are selling yourself short, and are most certainly going to be accurate with your prediction.

Wealth Tax versus income tax.

Notice that you never really see a big push to have a wealth tax instead of an income tax. Could it be that all those filthy rich socialists in the senate want you and me working and always giving up the fruit of the work to them. Robin Hoods all of them except they take fron us and give it to themselves.
